BITS event 2014 in Barcelona

More than 8000 people visited the BITSevent in Barcelona over this weekend, and Redresins was there!

Together with some other 3D printing fanatics and experts we got the opportunity to show 3D printers in action, and the materials to go along with it. While ‘Makers and Bits’ was 3D scanning the audience, and the ‘Stalactite’, and ‘Timiprint’ printers were printing, Redresins was showcasing the variety of resins and filaments that can be used with both printer types.

A lot of questions were asked on the availability of extra strong resin, so it seems there is a growing interest in the MadeSolid Vorex Tough resin. Looks like someone will be making his new bike rack in Barcelona printed with Vorex!

Also the VIP crowd learned something new on the jewelry process of Lost Wax Casting. After coming back twice, the expectations are set to see the results of that!

Last but not least, as always, the SODA 3d printed sunglasses were a big hit. Practical objects and Italian design never fail to draw a crowd!

Looking forward to seeing a bigger audience next year, with even more Tech, more Retro and more Geek!

Thanks all for passing by!
Mirjam
